Various approaches and theories dealing with economic development are not considering the role of organizations in the process of economic development. The paper assumes the relating importance of organizations; both an adequate social and economic environment as well as successfully managed structures and processes within the organization are necessary for their optimized functionality ensuring positive influence on economic development.
